Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water is regarded as the leading premium bottled water. 10 Best Water declared the company as the Best Water Brand of 2017. The water company is known for its commitment to social good and conservation.
In addition, Waiakea Water ranked first in the category of the Best Volcanic Water of 2017. Notably, in terms of overall bottled water brand success, the company surpassed renowned household names such as Icelandic Glacial, Fiji, SmartWater, Evian and Voss. The entity has won the 10 Best Water award for three years in a row. 10 Best Water posited that the emerging company is one of the dominant bottled water brands in the globe.
Waiakea’s founder, Ryan Emmons, asserted that, as they started, their goal was to bring positive changes to the bottled water industry from inside. To this end, the company has zeroed in on being an example for the entire CPG industry.
Ryan went on to posit that different reputable institutions have continued to recognize their philanthropic and environmental initiatives. This way, he believes that their products have the power to transform the society.
Waiakea water is the first bottled water company in the United States to have a CarbonNeutral certification. Its transformation agenda in the beverage industry cannot be underestimated. The corporation has amplified this objective through its sustainable sourcing, 100 percent RPET packaging and reforestation initiatives.
Moreover, Waiakea water has been the recipient of Best Tasting Award from Grubsteet, a food and beverage critic. Emmons contended that these awards show that consumer preferences are shifting towards sustainable, ethically conscious and healthier products.
He added that Waiakea’s future and that of other like-minded brands is bright. The company’s team focuses on market research and trends to develop consumer-oriented products.
About Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water
Ryan Emmons founded Waiakea in 2012. During the winters and summers, Ryan and his family spent time in Hawaii. The idea to enter into the bottled water industry started after realizing something special with the water that he had been drinking in Hawaii.
The water is sourced from the Big Island of Hawaii. The company’s water has mineral composition and PH.
It has pure electrolytes such as magnesium, sodium, calcium and potassium and an ideal amount of silica (30mg).
These minerals give the water a silky and soft feel in the mouth. Studies have shown that when one drinks about 10 mg of silica in water per day, he or she may lessen the risk of developing Alzheimer by 11 percent. Clinical research has also established that artificially alkaline water can cause side effects in the body, and as such, people should avoid it as a daily drinking water.
