IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

SPIN IS MOVING TO A NEW WEBSITE (before the end of February 2010) called

This new site will we hope, be a big improvement as it will have different views and permissions per page and per section.  This means that you will see and be able to access diffferent information according to whether you are a VISITOR or a MEMBER or a VOLUNTEER.  It will allow comments to be made and more interaction between members and between members and volunteers.

Currently most of our information is given in in emails with attachments or face to face but the new site will make it easier for you to access the information you want.

Please note it is essential to be a member and have completed a membership form to be invited to the new site.  Existing members will be invited although permission will not be granted if they have omitted to complete a membership form.

Are you a single parent in Sussex?  Feel like you are always juggling?

 

Being a single parent shouldnt define you as a person but it does dominate especially when your child(ren) are young.   SPIN is run by single parent volunteers and we understand the issues and have had experience of bringing up children alone.

 

By becoming a member of SPIN you can join the online group and receive regular information that will be useful for you and your family such as events, local services, opportunities for training/jobs, free tickets,  meet ups with other single parents.

 

SPIN volunteers work primarily from their homes and on a Tuesday from Vallance Community Centre, Sackville Road, Hove, BN3 3WR.  This is next to Honeycroft Nursery/Cafe and on the same site as Conway Court Childrens Centre (see FIND US AT OUR OFFICE section)
